Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support student development during an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role is based at an elementary school located in Port Orchard, WA, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on childrens communication skills in a supportive educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder assessments and interventions
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans that cater to diverse student needs
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments for elementary students
- Delivering individualized and group therapy sessions focused on improving communication abilities
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy strategies as needed
- Collaborating with teachers and school personnel to integrate speech goals into the classroom setting
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
