A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support student development during an Extended School Year (ESY) program. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder assessments and interventions
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans that cater to diverse student needs
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments for elementary students
- Delivering individualized and group therapy sessions focused on improving communication abilities
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy strategies as needed
- Collaborating with teachers and school personnel to integrate speech goals into the classroom setting
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
